Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about White Stag Lodge
Hotel and restaurant with a bar, lounge and front patio garden (with fountain) open to all. With the expected plush furniture, it doesn't feel very pub-like, but it's the only option in the village. The solitary handpump is also disused, so I went for the bottled Whitstable Bay Pale (£3.75) in preference to John Smith's or one of the other keg offerings.
