Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bedford Inn
This old side-street inn has been given a contemporary makeover and is now a boutique hotel too. Opened out inside to leave a L-shaped layout with a compact bar counter to the right of the entrance, a lounge area to the left and a pair of booths further back. Also has a rear terraced patio beer garden. No cask ale unfortunately, but the keg beers on the two hooped founts featured some interesting local craft brews: four from Northdown and the 3.4% Smesh session IPA from Time & Tide (£5.60).
