Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plough Inn
Quite a good-looking old pub on the main road at the eastern edge of town. Three-room layout at the front, with the main bar area (featuring a blazing real fire on a chilly November day), a cocktail lounge to the left and a pool room beyond second empty fireplace on the other side. Also has a dining area (down a couple of steps at the back) with another working fireplace at the back. With all three handpumps in use, I found London Pride, Doom Bar 'extra chilled' and Harvey's (£4.40) being poured.

A traditional town pub on the outskirts of New Romney, on the main road. It comprises four old cottages knocked into a single pub, with some of its former courtyard covered as well. This makes for several small bars and gives a nice rambling feeling to the place. Plenty of parking at the front and a decent sized garden to the rear. There is plenty of wooden furniture, open fire-places and bare boards to add to the rustic feel despite the presence of a tv screen. There is good food on offer, and every Wednesday is curry night. The reception is friendly, and the staff chatty. Although there are three hand pumps on the bar, there was no ale on draft when I visited, so I settled for a bottle of Henry's IPA which was fine. Probably worth including in a crawl when they have beer on, and a good place for a meal or a quiet evening.
