Seafront pub given a new lease of life after a period of closure. Refurbished by stripping back to brickwork, bare boards and even removing the ceiling, however done quite successfully in a light, breezy style, aided by the large French windows to the front which overlook the beach. Three handpumps offer the local Gadds beers, which were a bit cloudy but tasted fine. Furnishing is a mixture of high and low tables, including some outside at the front which are superbly placed to enjoy the beach apart from the traffic.
