Strongers . left this review about Mu Mu
Mu Mu is spread across two separate buildings with a restaurant to the left and lounge bar to the right. I wandered into the restaurant this lunchtime and was greeted at the door by a young lady who offered to seat me at one of the set tables. I mentioned that I saw a bar menu by the front door and was directed to the separate lounge bar over the way.
The designer of the lounge bar has gone for a burlesque theme and I saw an advertisement for Madam Mumu’s cabaret night. I imagine the show takes place in an area at the rear which is also available for private hire. The bar is found in the front on the right hand wall where a range of bottled beers and cocktails can be purchased. There is no real ale here and the two draught taps were both drawing Kirin Ichiban.
There were about ten other customers who were all female and ranged from mid thirty to mid sixty. They all seemed to be having a nice enough time, but I decided to do a bunk before the barmaid got around to serving me.
My rating of two is because I‘m an ale swilling football fan who likes a game of darts. People unlike me may actually like this place.
