Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Milton Ale Shades

One of the most basic pubs I've been to in recent years, with the last refurbishment of the L-shaped interior lost in the mists of time. No real ale of course, and a paucity of keg options too. Curiously, the Guinness was not being served in measures less than a pint, but the John Smith's (£1.90, half) was?

Nothing has changed here still a rough little pub hardly surviving. I am surprised that it is still trading?

I don't like this small pub myself. You might but to me it is noisy, crowded, rowdy and not very welcoming with some right rough customers during the day. No appeal for me at all.
