An unremarkable 1970s estate pub, part of a shopping arcade, bigger inside than it looks, consisting of a single large bar with a pool table, gaming machines and tv screens. The only ale on was Doombar which was too cold and in average condition. It's a noisy sports-oriented local staffed by apathetic Job Centre rejects – I had to ask two of them three times to produce a full pint. The outside seating area offers a fantastic view of the car park and nearby flats. To be fair it's probably a decent local, and its proximity to the Gurkha Palace, a very good Nepali restaurant in the same block, makes it a fair place to have a pre-prandial pint.
