Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Sun Inn
A fine old Shepherd Neame inn with a restaurant area extending into an adjoining building and hotel accommodation still offered. The historic interior has been partially to be opened out to form various seating areas around the irregularly-shaped bar. Two-part patio beer garden to the rear. Master Brew and Spitfire (£4.45), later replaced by Late Red (£4.75), available from the two banks of five handpumps, with both real ales being in excellent shape.

E TA left this review about The Sun Inn
A 14th Century Shepherd and Neame pub with a chaotic floorplan incorporating a restaurant area, a couple of snugs and a main bar. The oak beams, dried hops and wooden floors give a traditional feel without feeling contrived. The staff looked a bit bored but were friendly enough, although their pink uniforms were a bit out of place – and frankly a bit silly – in this kind of pub. They host live music on Fridays and there is a pleasant garden at the back. They do B&B, and there is a good wine selection. There were three ales on; I had a pint of S&N Mild which was rather good. A good traditional Kentish town pub which shines, well worth a visit.

Peter Faulkner left this review about The Sun Inn
The Sun Inn has a wealth of old beams and a huge inglenook fireplace, which has been the meeting place of Faversham gentry for centuries.
With a traditional bar and restaurant menu and many specials served each day the Sun is a relaxing place to sample a selection of Shepherd Neame's prize-winning Kentish ales and lagers.
