Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Four Elms Inn
Traditional pub serving a small village and the surrounding rural area, and the low ceilings in certain rooms show the age of the original building (now extended). The bar side is formed from three small rooms (one a bit of a lounge), and the larger dining area was also another pair originally. This one has the main counter where the four handpumps can be found, with Deuchars IPA (£3.00) and Theakston's Best available when I visited.

This is a rambling rather rural Kentish pub with an attractive appearance, tile hung upper walls, attractive floral displays and a nice large lawned garden to one side. Inside there are probably five distinct areas, you enter to find the bar ahead but no hand pumps. Cut through to the right and there they are, three of them, on the day serving Long Man Long Blonde, Tonbridge Rustic and an unidentified Welton's beer which at 4% could have been one of three or so. This part of the bar has a through fireplace nowadays with a log burner on one side, for the real deal go back left where this room is served by a huge inglenook which is in exposed brick and stonework with horse brasses along the bressumer beam. Side rooms include a snug-like area, one set for formal dining and another far to the right which looks like it is in an added on area. The older areas have partially beamed fairly low ceilings although those directly on entering look too square and straight to be original and functional. Pots and jugs hang from them however giving character. Various framed bits on the walls and there is a community noticeboard.
A decent spot worth seeking out in the back lanes, there is also a good sized car park. Lunches and evening meals are served.
