Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Crown & Sceptre
Decent-looking Shepherd Neame pub in a backstreet west of the station. The L-shaped interior is plain but tidy, with a pool table and three dartboards. Live football is obviously a big thing, with matches advertised most days on the chalkboard, together with a monthly quiz. Disappointingly, none of the three handpumps has been used for a long while, so I went for the brewery's keg Smooth which turned out to be surprisingly expensive (given the location) at £4.10. However, some bottled ales are also available.
