Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Chance Inn
A rather inconspicuous building in the small village of Guston, located a short distance away from the A2 trunk road but which feels deeply rural. Small, 'L'-shape bar with traditional furniture and decor plus a dining area to the rear. Very well kept, inside and out, with friendly landlord, staff and customers. My only concern on entering was seeing reversed clips on both handpumps, but thankfully it turned out that Tribute was available and in top form too (£3.30). Limited but reasonably-priced menu, with well-presented food served quickly. However, what makes this place stand out is the splendid rear beer garden with an concrete skittle alley and 9-hole putting green. Overall, it was just the sort of place that I had hoped to find on a country walk through unfamiliar countryside.

recently had the pleasure to visit Guston and the chance inn traditional country pub with very good bar food and very reasonably priced the landlord roger was very welcoming and very friendly made you feel like you were a regular rather than a visitor good range of draught beers can reccomend the bass if we are ever down that way again will definately pop in.
