Things still ticking over nicely here. Two guests last Saturday in addition to the usual GK standards - Tim Taylor Best and one from Cotleigh. My TTB was in good form though I detected that slight GK twang to it; those pipes need a damned good clean if you're switching over from a GK brew! Friendly enough inside, with a number of people watching the 6 Nations in the back room.
March 2012
New owners have spent a considerable amount of time and energy improving the pub both externally and internally. Berni Inn has been consigned to the dustbin! Three GK ales on, a little unimaginative but the quality is good. Family friendly and food now offered. Front garden now being turned into a nice drinking area. Squaddies are on their way soon, in fact I don't think I saw any on Saturday.

Two bar squaddie pub by the barracks. Pretty average Greene King beer (Abbot and IPA). Inside is a mock-tudor 70’s vibe, like an old Berni Inn.
