Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ship
Rather plain-looking pub comprising three semi-separate rooms: the central bar, a lounge (with the current entrance door) to the right-hand side and a pool room at the far end. Traditionally furnished with quite austere faux-Tudor black-and-white decoration. I wasn't 100% convinced that it was open when I arrived bang on noon on a Sunday lunchtime, but it was, and my pint of - what turned out to be Courage - Best Bitter (£4.60) from one of the four handpumps featuring a handwritten clip label was better than expected.
