Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Chequers

Of the three pubs in Farningham, this one is definitely the 'local', but none the worse for that since food-led pub / restaurants aren't the answer for everyone. Anyway, the U-shaped interior is pleasingly traditional, and although only Harvey's (£4.20) was available from a total of ten handpumps, the pump clips on display suggest that more real ales are available in normal times.
