Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Black Horse
Refurbished pub, located opposite the village playing field, with a partly opened-out, L-shaped interior. Light modern furniture and decor throughout. A couple of Purity beers - Mad Goose and Pure UBU - were available from the bank of three handpumps. The former appeared to be on the turn, but this was happily replaced with a good pint of 6X (£4.50) from the third pull. However, on a Sunday lunchtime, the real plus was the plate of tasty homemade apple tarts being offered to all customers.
