Cask here was TT LL, Youngs Original and their own branded Bickley Best, am assuming brewed for them by Youngs. Keg offering of Estrella, Pravha, Peroni, Neck Oil, Asahi, Guinness, Jubel Peach lager and Aspall.

Large Youngs establishment down the slope from Chislehurst station. There is some seating out the front on paving stones and comprised of patio style tables and chairs with parasols. Inside the front entrance is a bare boarded high ceiling area with stylish wall coverings and a red studded leather banquette along the left-hand wall serving a few regular tables with attractive armchairs the other side thereof. A few other regular / tall tables on the main floor space, and there is a snug round the rear left-hand corner, referred to as the Waiting Room comprised of a single tall table with tall, backed stools. Signage in this corner also referred to the Camden Room but seemingly private dining or a function room and closed on my visit. There is a white marble fire grate on the right-hand wall and seating down this side predominately tall white marble topped tables with attractive tall, backed fabric upholstered stools. The bar counter is almost straight on from the front entrance and is also bare boarded with decent standing room around the bar counter. Opposite the bar counter is a set of steps up to a bare boarded mezzanine level with regular tables and chairs, and down a small flight of steps is a tartan carpeted area with regular tables and chairs, some of the tables also served by banquettes and the area provided access to the rear large garden and terrace. Part of this basement area was labelled “Napolean’s Hideaway” and appeared just to be a collection of regular tables with colourfully fabric upholstered bucket style armchairs. To the left-hand side of the bar counter is another bare boarded seating area, tables not laid for diners so assume this is more of a bar / drinking area. A large skylight sits above, so the area was bright on another very sunny early afternoon. The area led out to a raised balcony seating area and steps led down to the large paved rear beer garden with a raised decked area in rear right hand corner with padded patio style furniture. Otherwise, patio style regular tables and chairs with parasols with an external bar and burger shack at the rear. There is a covered area immediately at the rear of the venue before the patio area housing regular tables and chairs, also accessed from the basement seating area inside the venue. Screens were all switched off and a gentle music soundtrack was playing. Could come across as a large impersonal chain pub, but it was very pleasant out the back sitting on the balcony when not too many others were attending!
