Very traditional village inn, with a L-shaped bar, a slightly lower side pool room and rear dining area housed in a conservatory extension. Also has a fairly plain part-patio / part-grassed rear beer garden. Beer-wise, I found Master Brew and More's Head from Wantsum (£4.20) available from two of the three handpumps.

A lovely old Kentish pub serving a selection of fine beers and lagers. Serving great food especially the fish and chips, massive piece of battered cod and very fresh. There are also other fish specialities. Suckling pig can be ordered for parties of 8 or more and also paella for larger groups. If you want a typical country pub feel with bat and trap in the garden in the summer or snug with open fire in the winter then you wont be disappointed
