Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Local
Yes, the name is accurate, and for some reason you have to press a buzzer to get let in. However, once inside, the L-shaped bar is more modern than one might expect, and there were plenty of locals present on a Saturday afternoon (although chatter seemed suppressed by two large sports TV screens). Just a solitary real ale on handpump, although the TT Boltmaker (£4.20) proved to be in good shape.
