Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Black Pig
This historic country inn in the hamlet of Barnsole also serves the nearby now pub-less village of Staple. The bar looks very traditional at first glance, although the two main tables have high stools and sit upon old wooden barrels. Another small room can be found behind the opened-out timberwork on right-hand side, and a more fancy dining room branches off to the left. I found two of the four handpumps operational, dispensing Harvey's and Flack Double Drop (£4.10).
