Handily placed for Bromley North Station, a Victorian built pub with a bit of character about it, internally split into several areas traditionally furnished . Five handpumps with a choice of three, Doom Bar, Landlord and Titanic Plum Porter.

A typical Antic pub with eclectic decoration and a random collection of objects scattered around the one main room, with a couple of side rooms off. Just two handpumps in use, dispensing Bermondsey Routemaster Red and Vorden Session. Possibly somewhere you could enjoy as a regular but it didn't feel totally right when just dropping in for a pint.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Railway Tavern
This pub was quite busy on our Thursday eve visit, with the majority of the customers calling in for a bite to eat. Five handpumps on the bar with only two in use, serving Volden Pale and Batemans. I went for the Volden pale which is very much to my taste and the beer was in excellent condition. As the main part of the pub was busy, we took our drinks and sat near the kitchen servery. This was a single narrow room with a side doorway leading to the street, this room had some wacky 70's style wallpaper, exposed brick and a collection of wall mounted plates.
