Very large Geene King tied 30's roadhouse ,you enter onto the bar but the "Wait to be Seated" lecturn can be ignored as this just applies to the large dining area to the right.The left section is more for drinkers with Sky Sports flatscreens and a rear darts board.Corporate Pub grub menus but there is some community feel with the landlady a keen Gills fan and a Sunday Quiz.
The pub is badly let down by the awful GK ale selection ,their IPA and London Glory (a malty mess,clear but tasteless NBSS 2.5)
I just couldn't face anything more than a half,if you want decent ale pop along to the Long Haul a few doors away.

I am a regular of this pub it is a really good family pub to be in.
the food is really good, and the staff are very friendy.
