Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bricklayers Arms
Basic, no-nonsense boozer near the industrial estates that was doing good business late on a Saturday afternoon. Partly opened-out and refurbished in a semi-modern style at some stage to leave an elongated L-shaped layout of four seating areas with the counter spanning the central part. Normally has Courage Best on the solitary handpump, but unfortunately this was temporarily off when I called in on my way to the nearby station. I made do with a John Smiths (distinctly overpriced at £4.05) but at least the lady behind the bar was welcoming to a random stranger making a brief visit.
