The first pub you come to when arriving at St Mary’s by boat, and probably the best one too. It’s spread over three levels, a basement bar entered from the side, the main bar at street level and a restaurant on the upper floor. The building is right next to the quay but there are no sea views from the main bar. The bar is cosy, the ambiance is convivial and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We didn’t eat but were told by others that the food is excellent; it certainly looked good. Ales on were Doombar and Sea Fury, both in excellent condition. Well worth a visit.

Not by any means cheap, but your first or last stop, coming from/going to catch the Scillonian, depending on your direction. Lots of random accoutrements and a nice pint of Thatcher's. You can tell it would be the best drinker's pub in town.
