A great looking detached country pub, white rendered with some black paintwork, it has a patio and beer garden. In GBG 2010.
The interior had more than the one room i saw on my swift visit. The room was in white artex, with beams and a brick fire place. There was the trappings of a traditional place; brass ephemera, old plates, replica metal advertisements etc. The service was fine, the clientele mature locals it seemed. The place did food, but i only had time for a quick half. There was a dart board.
Beer; tap stuff, with a very good HSB and Ringwood Bitter on handpull.
It was a travesty that i could only have a swift half, but at least i got to try it - must come back.
