Olde red brick building with some improbable angles to be observed outside. Inside has been pretty modernised though a couple of room-like areas remain. Three pumps with Black Sheep, Doom Bar (decent) and Tribute (clip turned). Lemonade got the thumbs down from the day’s Desmond, who knows a thing or two about the syrup gun (oo-er). Clientèle were on the brash, chavvy side and the lone female barmaid seemed to not have control of the pub; the dubious honour of which fell to a bunch of leery, well-oiled blokes at the bar. Music TV via a terrestrial channel but nobody was watching, inevitably. To be fair there were a few punters in but I didn't find much to get excited about. The anti drugs/damage notice by the bogs confirmed in my mind the opinion I’d formed. Shame.
