Blue Scrumpy left this review about Seaview Hotel
On arrival at the Seaview Hotel, we assumed that the only available seating would be on the front patio. But the building stretches back a long way, with a couple of lounges at the front, a public bar midway along the long corridor and the kitchen, toilets and a larger dining area towards the rear. Beyond that, the hotel has a very tight car park with limited space.
We chose to sit in the bar, where 3 ales were on - Island Yachtsman's Ale, Goddard's Fuggle-Dee-Dum & Yates's Islander. My Yachtsman's was probably the best beer I tasted on the island during this visit.
I hadn't expected much in advance of my visit here, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Small independent hotel in a Victorian building with two bars, one a lounge and the other ('Messroom') laid up for eating. All very tidy and best decribed as "shipshape", with a strong nautical feel and lots of appropriate photos and other memorabilia. Outside the front terrace is packed with French-style aluminium tables and chairs. Three handpumps offered Goddard's Fuggle-de-dum, Yates Golden and Island Yachtsman and the barman not only showed an interest in the beer but performed a very efficient barrel change. A little more upmarket than the average pub but well worth stopping by for a beer.
