Large carvery/pizza restaurant which has been completely modernised and lacks any real character, although it does have a nice waterside outdoor area at the back. It has Cask Marque accreditation but only seems to offer Doom Bar, although this was off at time of visit.

A multi building detached Crown Carvery in light remder in a cut away from what is now the main road, that was once in fact the main road. It has a rear view over the harbour area and a patio.
The interior is open plan, a sort of U shape around the bar and carvery service area, and nearly all foody tables, as you would expect. The decor is green, red, white and wood panel in the generic kind of style these places have. The place does have a few old photos of the area on the walls and a few decorative mirror, along with Sky TV. The carvery food is better than functional and it is good value for under £4. The service was ok and the clientele mixed and it was busy. It can get very cramped from previous experience and very hot.
Beer; tap stuff maily - a better choice this year saw Ringwood Bitter and GK IPA, sadly the Ringwood wasnt on and the GK is bland at the best of times.
My daughters affectionately nicknamed this the Slop Inn. We will always visit, as it just does what you expect - however, dont expect too much!
