After the disappointment of not finding any ales in the Estcourt Arms opposite was relieved to find all three ale pumps in operation here. The permanent Fullers London Pride was complemented by two from the Tring Brewery in the shape of Side pocket for a toad and Squadron Scramble.
It’s been tarted up a bit since my last visit but the description below largely still applies. This was my first time to visit when there wasn’t any major sport on, and on this particular early evening visit, when there wasn’t many in, I found the place pretty dull to be honest.
Therefore no real need to change the rating below greatly but I will increase it by a point because of the improved Ale choice

L Shaped corner pub a short distance from Watford train station. Sports orientated with three plasma teles and a pull down screen for the big games. Cannot comment on what this pub is like when there is no sport as I have only been in here when escaping the nearby shopping centre to catch the footy, and at these times it fully fits the description of a blokey sports pub.
Two handpumps on the bar, which are usually London Pride and one from the local Tring brewery and on my last visit the JackO’Legs was an OK pint.
