Bucking Fastard left this review about The Spread Eagle
Very close to Ware station, this is a rather tatty boozer owned by Mc Mullens. The two front doors hint at a previous two room interior but no longer,it's one room with two wings. The left side has a darts board and juke box,the right side a way to the loos. The seating is functional if worn and the bar opposite the doors domintes the interior. The Sky Sports flatscreen was turned off, most of the rugulars were drinking the national brand lager, while there is just a single handpump for AK (NBSS 3).
Not much to warrant a return visit, the place is in need of some TLC.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Spread Eagle
Basic McMullens local, close to the railway station. The small, single bar layout is plainly furnished (with most of the regulars sat on bar stools). Just AK available on handpump, which was nothing special at £2.70. Didn't feel particularly welcoming so I was off pretty quickly.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Spread Eagle
The Spread Eagle is a smallish pub and it is probably the closest pub to the train station.
Once inside there was one room that was a decent enough room to have a drink in,this pub is a McMullens tied house and there was only one real ale on the bar this was McMullens AK bitter and this was a decent drink.
