The Old Anchor is at the top end of the high street to the north of the town centre.
This is a decent looking roadside pub and once inside there were two rooms i went in the bar which was quite a nice room the other room was a smarter lounge, this pub is a mcMullens tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of McMullens Country and this was a very nice drink the other beer was McMullens AK bitter.
I thought this was quite a nice pub.
