I got as far as the door at 22:00 last night (Saturday) before I was advised that it was Caribbean night and the entrance fee was £5. That explained why it was so quiet in comparison to its peers. I suppose that I’ll have to wait until my next trip to St Albans to visit this pub and maybe throw some darts at the board I spotted through the window.

Been in a couple of times on Sunday afternoons and it has always been quiet. A couple of handpumps, Pride and GK IPA but I wonder if they sell enough to be able to guarantee the quality. The star attractions are two dogs, one of which is a beautiful white hairy thing.
