Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Peacock

The 'Tenancy opportunity here!' sign didn't bode well, and the basic (if refurbished) L-shaped interior leant a very basic feel to the place (especially as the back part had been cleared for some later event). A boisterous group of locals and some thumping music also added a certain something to the atmosphere... That said, I was pleasantly surprised to find the solitary handpump in use, offering Tring's Side Pocket for a Toad (£5.00).

The Peacock is a stand alone pub that looked like it has had a makeover from its outside appearance.
Once inside there is a roughly L Shaped room with the bar on the right side, the floor is bare boarded, the seating is normal tables and chairs and settees.
There were no real ales on the bar or even keg bitters,i had a drink of Guinness, which was bland like it normally is now, there was also Estrella on the bar and a craft keg crap beer.
Background music was playing.
The pub was almost empty on my late Saturday afternoon visit.
Not a pub to my taste.
