A quintessential English pub in the visual stakes, covered and surrounded by greenery in a semi-rural location. Popped in off the back of its GBG listing though it’s more restaurant than pub really. Not a huge amount to shout about beer-wise (Deuchars IPA, Pride and a guest) but the half I had was fine. Large garden to rear though unexplored due to the impending dusk. Two real fires.
