Located in the village of Breachwood Green, this is a friendly village pub that had Greene King signage, but with no sign of their beers. St Austell Tribute appears to make a regular appearance here, whilst guests were Ringwood Forty Niner, Adnams Ghost Ship & Tring Side Pocket For A Toad. I was hoping to find a real cider, but there were none that I could see.
The pub is sub-divided into two areas with the bar on the rear wall. A TV was showing live cricket on the left-hand side as you entered. However, most locals were congregating near the bar to the right-hand side.

In the sticks between Luton and Hitchin, this is a Greene King pub and as such, had the livery as well as ales to prove it (GK IPA, Abbot Ale, Old Golden Hen as well as St Austell Tribute). Formerly a traditional two-roomer, this has been knocked through to make a staple-shaped room with bar against the back wall, although it's easy to see the original sub-divisions and there are also photos of the former public and saloon bars on along with old photos of the pub on one of the walls. It's a well-kept interior and pub grub is offered. A couple of negatives were two large screens, one in each room distractingly screening a PL game on mute, a Heart FM-style radio playing muzak in the background and a plethora of pump clips affixed on the wall above the bar showing that there's a chance of a bit of choice here, but timing is of the essence.
