The Anchor is a nice looking pub that is fairly close to the Millstream pub but on the opposite side of the road.
Once inside the bar faces in an L shaped room which is carpeted,there seating is normal tables and chairs,there is a pool table to the rear left.
The pub is a Greene King tied house,there were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of GK IPA,which was a decent enough drink,there was also GK Abbot and GK Old Speckled Hen on the bar.
I thought this was a decent enough pub to end my Hitchin pub crawl in.

food was average busy bar quite a few eating must say better than "over the road" google if you want to know the "one over the road" or see my other review, number 97 same street bar price lot lower than "over the road"
