Clearly an old building with a front terrace ,inside the beams are low,there is a brick fireplace ,traditional furniture while the bar area is wood floored and at a lower level compared with the lounge style seating areas. At both entrance doors there is a notice saying Members Only which was off putting so I enquired at the bar if I was allowed in. No problem said the barmaid but maybe the signs are there to put off bad elements in the local community . Once inside it is clearly a local pub for local people.There are two flatscreens showing TNT sport.
A plus point is the real ale offering on my trip Titanic White Star (NBSS 3),Tring Squadron and Moongazing and GK IPA.However as a stranger I didn't feel all that comfortable ,which might inhibit another visit.

Recent new management and a refurb and have added 'Olde' to the signage. Just started doing bar snacks to complement the main menu with scotch eggs and cornish pasties, a bit expensive but good quality. Greene King pub but also had a local Tring Brewery guest. Nice old building and a good place for a drink. Right opposite Leverstock Green and the cricket club. Opens 11am daily.

I used to run this pub about 4 - 5 years ago. The quaintest pub ever & the customers & staff were the best!!!! Miss you all but very happy in my life now...
