Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Bell
Village pub in Bovingdon that seemed a little more geared to dining than drinking on our weekday lunchtime visit. There are low beams throughout the rambling interior, with different areas also created by various pillars. Many of the tables were reserved for diners, but there were a few customers that seemed to be in only for a pint, including ourselves.
Tring Side Pocket For A Toad is the regular ale here. They also had a guest beer, which was Young's London Original. Parking is to the rear.
It's currently in the Good Beer Guide, but struck me as being fairly ordinary, certainly on the real ale front.
