Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cavendish Arms

Typical estate pub with one elongated bar having the counter in the centre opposite the main entrance. Usual amenities: pool table, dartboard, a couple of large sports TVs and split-level rear beer garden. No real ale of course, so a quick John Smith's (£5.10 with a packet of peanuts) before moving on.

It was pretty quiet in here during my week night visit, but the barman was very friendly and the locals liked gossiping about people that weren't there.

The pub has Sky Sports and a pool table and there is a disco and karaoke every weekend.

Greene King IPA is available alongside a standard draught selection, but unfortunately my Guinness wasn't the best.

I wasn't impressed with this place, but it was very quiet and I could see the potential for a good craic so I think that I'll reserve proper judgment until after another visit.
