I went onto Saxon City Ales page and read you can find a pint of their ales at the Bowling Green and as a guest at other local pubs, so I was disappointed on arrival at the pub to be told that they have never heard of them.
The pub looked the part from the outside, once through the doors, I found the pub to be featureless with white walls and nothing adorning the walls. There was a small bar on the left of entry, which had two handpumps - one in use dispensing Hobgoblin. Found out later this is one of the rougher pubs in Hereford, customer wise.

The regulars seem to like this place but the real question is would you like the regulars? It is a pub I would not wish to take anyone I know but it has its place in the hierachy of Hereford pubs..somewhere near the bottom.
My recommendation is unless you are local and known to the customers then leave well alone.
