I made an unplanned stop at the Rose & Lion to conclude a pub crawl of Herefordshire. Now looking at my notes, I can see that I visited here previously back in 2012.
My previous review on Beerintheevening could probably be used again. Wye Valley HPA, Bitter & Butty Bach are still the regular beers. This time, they also had a 4th pub from the brewery - Hopfather. Beavertown Neck Oil was on keg.
This is a noisy, locals pub with basic drinking areas around a central bar. My previous review stated that seating was a little limited. Indeed, most locals were crowded around the bar making navigation around the pub difficult. I managed to get a table in a corner next to an brightly lit dartboard and an unused projector screen that can presumably be used for major sporting events. Children are welcome.
A typical small town local. I've been here twice now and doubt I will be back.

This is a friendly Wye Valley brewery pub with seating outside. Inside there was a centre bar serving different areas. There was a dart board and a TV which was not on while we were there. The Wye Valley Butty Bach was very good.

This is a mecca for fans of the Wye Valley Brewery. This was the second pub aquired by Wye Valley ( the others are The Morgan, Malvern and The Barrels, Hereford) and has undergone some extension. Bit of a sod to park, but that goes for anywhere in Bromyard. It is still a small pub with good beer and an interesting cast of local characters. Another must visit pub.
