Housed in a lovely Gothic building though the interior is as dull as you like; a long knocked-through oblong with a dull pinkish mushroom colour and battered round the edges. Of brief interest are three booths running down the right-hand side. No cask and a fairly pedestrian keg selection so a half of Heineken Silver sufficed. At least it was air conditioned on a sweltering day.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Pitcher & Piano

Seems to comprise parts of two different buildings, with the grand Gothic-arched frontage onto High Street and a lower but interesting facade on Colebrook Street showing former Eldridge Pope ownership. Nothing much of interest inside, but there are a range of seating areas including some booths. Just Hobgoblin available from the two handpumps. (NB - Review dates from August 2012.)
