Update 29 Sept 2009 - Sunday lunchtime visit
The interior is sort of "beigey" decor, but I do not mean this in a disparaging way, just that it is clean, tidy, carpeted, has tables, chairs & not dark & gloomy.

On my Sunday visit there were even free nibbles on the bar, long time since I found this in a pub on any day of the week

Home cooked food, and some surprises here, like bubble & squeek, cheesey chips. Prices from around £2 to £7

Beer is standard tap / keg stuff

Fruit machine, pool table & 3 TVs

One single bar, but split into areas for dining, pool and general bar. On two levels, but has two doors onto street so wheelchairs could get in, however there is a step between dining area and bar

Disabled toilets, but if in dining area it would involve negotiating the step up to bar area

All in all a nice local sort of pub
