A pleasant local, tastefully furnished with fairly posh furniture in a drawing room sort of feel. The front area holds a dartboard while, as noted in the previous review, there are some Eastern European overtones, especially on the menu. A couple of sport TVs hang on the walls. A guest ale is now available alongside the Doom Bar, which on this occasion was Butcombe Rare Breed.

A traditional looking corner pub from the outside, it is far from that within. A modernised opened out interior,It's a Polish influenced gastropub with sports TV and background dance music for good measure, the only thing of positive note was some retained etched glass windows. It didn't improve on the beer front either, just Doom Bar and usual Lagers along with some Polish bottled stuff, I settled for half a Stella.
