Went for Sunday lunch with party for birthday celebration. Party of 10 people. The roast pork left a lot to be desired. We were given butter spreaders to cut the thick chunks of pork which was very tough. The vegetables left a lot to be desired. The roast potatoes were not as advertised (crisp) they were hollow on the inside and rock hard on the outside. The gravy was very gloopy and very salty. In all a very poor display for a Sunday country pub lunch. We will not be using this venue again or indeed recommending anybody either. A sad end to what was supposed to be a celebration and a good Sunday lunch. Could you please try and employ a decent Chef as the price did not reflect the standard of food.
