An enthusiastic adaptation of a country house which retains a fair amount of character, starting with the impressive entrance hall. The high-ceilinged bar leads through to a large restaurant area, while to the other side is a cosy lounge with some panelling and the obligatory stag's head. Outside is a lawned area of tables. Slight feel of a wedding venue and very popular for dining, but still welcomes local dog walkers in the bar. A Fullers house with beers from their range, on this occasion London Pride, Seafarers, HSB and Dark Star Pale.
