The Viking was a 60s built pub that was on an estate just away from the city centre.
Once inside there were two rooms and we went in the bar which was comfortable enough with bench seating and a pool table,the lounge looked a lot smarter.
This pub was a Whitbread tied house and there were no real ales on here,we had a drink of keg Tetley bitter and this was a very poor drink.
The pub was quite busy on out late evening visit and it had a decent enough atmosphere to it.
It is a shame that this is yet another Portsmouth pub to bite the dust.
