A Victorian corner pub with a single carpeted L-shaped bar with a small open fire at one end. Very much a local, we felt tolerated rather than welcomed. The conversation among the inmates was largely scatological, so to be fair we didn't think we were missing much. There was a tv showing football, a pool table and 2 dart boards, while a truly awful racket emanated from the jukebox. A good selection of darts trophies was on display. Free WiFi was available. The only ale on draft was Doombar, which was not well kept and in poor condition, barely drinkable. The ambience was such that I would not bother coming this far off the beaten track to come here again.
