A Victorian corner pub in a residential area, predominantly used by locals. It consists of an L-shaped corner bar with a mix of wood and carpeted floors. There is a pool table at one end and a raised area with a disco rig at the apex (thankfully mute). We found the locals friendly, if a little distant at first, and the staff very welcoming. The décor was in need of refreshing, but otherwise the pub was pretty ordinary. There was no real ale, no food and no wifi, so I don't see my returning again in the near future.
