A low-budget 1930s Greene King outlet that doesn’t have any real ale – the landlady assured me no-one drinks it around here. It has the usual GK rubbish food, cheap but not good value given that the quality is so poor. It was lively though, with people watching live sports on the TV on multiple TV screens and playing pool. There is also a dartboard, but this wasn’t being used. The single large bar/dining area has two main parts, one raised area at the front reached by a couple of steps, manky carpet, covered smoking area at the rear and a DJ booth for weekly discotheques (as they’re probably still called here). I didn’t like the pub at all, so beer notwithstanding, I can’t see my returning to it in its current form.

went in here today for the first time in about 2 yrs, not again. to dark, pretty naff refurb. bar girl friendly. catering woman not. DO NOT EAT HERE. should not be serving food. go to wetherspoons or mcdonalds.

Popped in lunchtime, although it is not a 'spoons you would be forgiven if you thought it was, similar style, food etc
Not for me really but you may love it. If you want the real thing there is a proper 'spoons just along the road
