Medium-sized historic hotel at top of High Street, present building mainly Victorian and with considerable character. The bar has been annexed by the brasserie, so limited space for drinking, although there is a lounge nearby. Two handpumps both claiming Ringwood Best but sadly not on at time of visit, although Cask Marque sign displayed. No real reason to visit unless staying or eating (food excellent however).
